RESOLUTION NO. 4447
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes ; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and ---
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of DORRIS JOHNSON. a married woman.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, to be used for road and public utility purposes ,
and more particularly des~ribed as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across those portions of Lots 4 and 5 of the "South
Placentia" Tract No.2, located in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map filed in
Book 5, Page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange
County, described as follows:
Parcell: The Westerly 50 feet as measured at right angles
from the center line of Cypress Street of the Northerly
108.75 feet of said Lot 4.
Parcel 2: The Westerly 50 feet as measured at right angles
from the center line of Cypress Street of said Lot 5.
Parcel 3: Those portions of said Lots 4 and 5 lying 50 feet
as measured at right angles Westerly and Northwesterly of
the center line of Placentia Avenue, said center line being
described as follows:
Beginning at the point of intersection of the Northerly line
of said Lot 5 and the center line of said Placentla Avenue;
thence S 1)056130" W 262 feet more or less to an angle point;
thence S 56031'40" W 345.52 feet more or less to a point,
said point being 108.75 feet more or less South, as measured
at right angles, of the Northerly line of said Lot 4.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
