RESOLUTION NO. 4439
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes ; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and ---
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of o. B. WEAVER and FANNIE T. WEAVER,
husbanp. and vife
to sell to the city of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, to be used for road and public utility PUrposes ,
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Easterly 60 feet (as
measured at right angles from the monumented center
line of Brookhurst Street) and the Northerly 32
feet (as measured at right angles from the monu-
mented center line of Orange Avenue) of that parcel
of land located in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The North half of the Northeast quarter of the
Northeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of
Section 18, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, S.B.B.& M.;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the West 2 acres.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor or the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City or Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
