A RESOLUTION OF TEE CITY COUJJCIL OF THE CITY

WWRRRAS. Section 25643 ot the Government Code ot the
State of CalitorDia establishes the procedure whereby property
within incorporated cities may be exempt from county tax levies
for structural fire protection; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds after due study and
deliberation that all of the qualifications tor said ex.mption
exi8t and are as tollows:
1. 'fhat the City of Anaheim haa an organized
F1reDepart..nt in operatioD and existence
at the present time.
2. That said F!:pe Department is providiDg ade-
quate structural fire protection to all
property within the incorporated limits of
the City_
3. That no additional benetit in tire pro-
tection i8 received or required by such
prope~ty from structural fire protection
gi ven by the County of Orange_
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
_he City of Anaheim that a petition be presented to the Orange
Couaty Board of SuperVisors in writing, requesting the exclusion
of all property within the City of Anaheim from the levy of taxes
for struotural tire protection, and that the Aa.1nistrative
Otticer of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized
aDd directed to so petition the said Board of Supervisors and to
prOVide them with a certified copy of this resolution.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 25th day of March, 1958.
