CEIFFITH TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT FOR AND ON BEHAIJ: OF 1liE CITY OF ANAHEIM. '') WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 3571, adopted by the City Council on November 13, 1956, the City Council signified its intention to participate in the civil defense surplus property prograa, and desires to continue to participate; and WHEREAS, the California Disaster Office finds it necessary to employ additional personnel in order to render adequate service to the cities and counties in connection with the civil defense surplus property program, and has submitted to the City Council an agreement to be made and entered into by and between the City of Anaheim and the State of California, California Disaster Office, as of the 1st day of October, 1958, the terms and conditions of which agreement are as followss 1. That the Californ1a.Disaster Office shall provide technical and clerical assistance to the City of Anaheim at the three surplus property warehouses located in North Sacramento, San Leandro and Los Angeles. That in order to compensate the State of California for this additional service, the California Disaster Office will invoice the City, not less often than quarterly, for l~ of the service and handling charges assessed by the Educational Agency for Surplus Property on any items purchased, and the City shall pay the Cali- fornia Disaster Office for such charges within sixty days of date of each invoice. 2. That said agreement shall commence on the 1st day of October, 1958, and shall teminate on the 31st day of December, 1962, subject to the right of either party to terminate the agreement by giving the other party written notice at least 30 days prior to such termin- ation. AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be to the best interest of the City to enter iato said agreement with the State of California, California Disaster Office; NOW, THERBFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the agreement above mentioned, this day sub- mitted to the City Council, to be made and entered into as of October 1, 1958, by and between the State of California, California Disaster Office and the City of Anaheim, be and the su.e 1s hereby approved; and that Charles E.
