A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CEnTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim did heretofore enter
into an escrow with Charles Gilbert Adkins, a single man,
and Adah HIae Bueter, a marr ied woman, as her sole and separate
property, who acquired title as Adah Mae Adkins, at Bank of
America National Trust and Savings Association, Santa Ana
Branch, 801 North Main Street, Santa Ana, California, for the
purchase of the hereinafter described real property for
municipal purposes; and
WHEREAS,. said Bank of AmeI'ica National Trust and
Savings Association is now ready to close said escrow and a
deed has been prepared conveying said property to the City
of Anaheim free and clear of all encumbrances, except all
general and special taxes for the fiscal year 1958-59, a lien
not yet payable; and covenants, conditions, restrictions,
reservations, rights, rights-of-way and easements of record;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following
described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, to wit:
Lot 54 in Vineyard Lot E-5 in the Langenberger
Tract, as shown on a map thereof recorded in
Book I, Pages 551 and 552 of Miscellaneous
Records, Los Angeles County, California;
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the Easterly 6.5 feet and
the Southerly 20 feet as conveyed to the City
of Anaheim by deeds recorded April 13, 1906 in
Book 131, Page 114 of Deeds and recorded October
24, 1907 in Book 144 Page 42 of Deeds, Records
of Orange County, California,
to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encumbrances,
except as hereinabove set forth, be, and the same is hereby,
accepted by the City of Anahei m.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be,
and it is hereby, authorized to deliver to said Vendors the
amount of the purchase price for said property heretofore de-
posited in escrow, when all conditions of said escrow have
been met and complied with.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 4th day of November, 1958.
