A RESOLUTION OF TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

CITY.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of a water distribution
system for the distribution of water to its customers: and
WHEREAS, certain of the pipelines owned by the City are in the
streets or areas as hereinafter set forth: and
WRER~ARt the Orange County Flood Control District intends to
contract for the construction of a flood control project -- Carbon Creek
Channel. Bond Project B-l Part III, Santa Ana Freeway to R~ond Basin: and
WHEREAS, in order to construct said channel in accordance with
the plans and specifications therefore, which plans have been approved by the
City. it is necessary that certain pipelines lilove referred to, owned by the
City, be relocated, as hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Council of the City
of Anaheim that an agreement be made and entered into by 8JJ.d between the City
of Anaheim end the Orange County Flood Control District for the relocation of
the pipelines hereinafter designated, the terms and conditions of which shall
be as follows:

in the locations. and with the estimated cost of relocation, as shown:

2. The Oi ty of Anaheim shall make said relocations in a manner which will
permit the Carbon Creek Channel to be constructed in accordap.ce with the plane
and specifications therefor, and in a manner which, in any event, is approved
by the City Ingineer and the Flood Control Engineer of Orange County Flood
Contrql Distriet.
3. The Or~e County Flood Control District ahall~ to the City of
Anaheim on completion of said relocation, the actu~ cost to the City of per-
forming the work, said cost being estimated as $20,963.70, but in any event,
the cost to the Oity as evidenced by an itemized statement to be furnished
the Orange County Flood Control District prior to p~ent.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be, and
they are hereby, authorized to enter into said agreement for and on behalf of
the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed ~ me this 11th
day of November, 1958.
