RESOLUTION NO. 4858
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 4857 RELATING TO
A CHANGE OF ZONE IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY.
WHEREAS, the City Council did heretofore, to wit, on
the 11th day of November, 1958, adopt Resolution No. 4857
in reclassification proceedings No. F-58-59-20, upon application
from Robert R. Stearns and Walter H. Duff, for a change of zone
of certain real property described in said application from R-A,
RESIDENTIAL-AGRICULTURAL ZONE, to C-2, GENERAL-COMMERCIAL ZONE;
and
WHEREAS, Condition No. 1 of Resolution No. 4857 reads
as follows:
"1. That the owners of subject property place of
record standard City of Anaheim C-2 Deed
Restrictions."
AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that bars are
permitted in C-2 Zones and that Condition No. 1 of said resolution
should be amended to prohibit the establishment and operation of
bars in the area described in said resolution.
AND WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that an
ordinance has never been adopted directing said change of zone
and completing said proceedings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Condition No. 1 in said Resolution No.
4857 be amended to read as follows:
"1. That the owners of subject property place of
record standard City of Anaheim C-2 Deed
Restrictions, approved by the City Attorney,
which restrictions shall prohibit the estab-
lishment and operation of bars in subject area."
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 11th day of November, 1958.
