RESOLUTION NO. 4805
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes ; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of WILSHIRE OIL COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA,
a New Mexico Corporation.
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, to be used for an easement for road and public utility purpGses,
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across that parcel of land described as follows:
Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 39 of Anaheim Extension
as shown on a map made by William Hamel and filed for record in the
office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California;
thence Southerly along the West line of said Lot 39, 83.25 feet;
thence Easterly as measured at right angles 33.00 feet to the true
point of beginning, said point also being the beginning of a curve
concave Southeasterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence
Northerly and Easterly along said curve through a central angle of
104059'30", an arc distance of 27.49 feet to a point in a line para-
llel with and distant 53.00 feet Southerly of the North line of said
Lot 39; thence Southeasterly along said parallel line to the East line
of that parcel of land conveyed to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the
United States of America, a corporation, by deed recorded August 1,
1958, filed in Book 4369, Page 189, Official Records of Orange County,
California; thence Northerly along said East line to a point in a line
parallel with and 50 feet Southerly of the North line of said Lot 39;
thence Northwesterly along the last mentioned parallel line 228.50
feet to a point in a line parallel ldth and distant 33.00 feet
Easterly from the West line of said Lot 39; thence Southerly to the
true point of beginning,

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor or the City
or Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners or
said real property, out or General Funds or the City or Anaheim,
the sum or One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
