RESOLUTION NO. 4795
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COONCIL OF THE CITY
OF AJWIEIM CANCELLING THE COJITRACT FOR JOB.

AND AU'nIORIZING PAYMENT FOR WORK ALREADY CC>>IJ-_
PLETED.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Anaheim
has recommended to the City Council that Job No. 1105, the con-
struction of a sewer in Winston Road, from approximately 1300
feet east of P1aceatia Avenue to P1acentia Avenue, be abandoned
at this time and that no further work be completed under said
Job; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that abandon-
ment of such job ~uld be in the best interests of the City of
Anahe im; and
WHEREAS, Plumbing Contractors, Inc., the contractor
to whom the Job was let after competitivehidding, aa set forth
in Resolution No. 4101, has agreed to cancellation of the contract,
and haa agreed to relinquish all claim for anticipated profits
from said contract upon the payment of ~.46, which represents
the reasonable value of the work already completed under said
Job No. 1105.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED. by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the contract with Plumbing Contractors,
Inc. for Job No. 1105, the construction of a sewer in Winston
Road, from approximately 1300 feet east of Placentia Avenue to
P1acentia Avenue, be, and the same is hereby cancelled and held
for naught.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City A1tditor of the
City of Anaheim.~~,and he is hereby, authorized and directed to
pay the sum of ~.46 as full and complete payment for work
done under said contract and as full compensation to the con-
tractor under said contract.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 30th day of September, 1958.
