RESOLUTION NO.. 4790
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM OBJECTING TO THE TAX SALE. OF LOT
21 OF THE SCHAFFER AND OSWALD SUBDIVISION,
AND OFFERING TO JlURCHASE SAID LOT.
WHEREAS, Lot 21 of the Schaffer and Oswald Subdivision,
in the City of Anaheim, County of orange State of California,
as shown on a map filed in Book 7, Page 41 of Miscellaneous Maps
in the Office of the County Recorder .of said County, has been
sold to the State for taxes; and
WHEREAS, the County Tax Collector has declared his
intention to sell at public auction said property, pursuant to
the provisions of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of
California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it would be
to the advantage and for the best interests of the City of Anaheim
to object to said sale and to offer to purchase said property.
NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Ci ty Councll of
the City of Anaheim that it does herehy.obJect to the sale of said
Lot 21 of the Schaffer and Oswald SUbcUvlsion, in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as proposed hy
the County Tax Collector, and does hereby offer to purchase said
Lot for the sum of $500.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk he, and she
is hereby, authori~ed an~~directed to certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and to furnish to the Board of SuperVisors of the
County of Orange and to the County Tax Collector, certified copies
of this Resolution, together with a request that the City be per-
mitted to purchase said Lot, pursuant to the provisions of Division
1, Part 6, Chapter 8 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State
of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 30th day of September, 1958.
