A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY C01JNCLL OF THE CITY
OF AMAHEIM A1JTHORIZING THE MAYOR .AND CITY
CLERK TO ENTER INTO .AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
ORAJJGE COlIN'TY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT FOR THE
RELOCATION OF A lO-INCH WATER LINE IN CERRLTOS
AVENUE .
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of a water
distribution system for the distribution of water to its
custeJJlers; and
WHEREAS, certain of the pipe lines owned by the City
are located on the street and area hereinafter mentioned; and
WHEREAS, the Orange County Flood Control District
intends to contract for the construction of Anaheim-Barber City
Channel C3, Euclid Avenue to Ball Road; and
WHEREAS, in order to construct aaid channel in accord-
ance with the plans and specifications therefor, which plans
have been approved by the City, it is necessary that a 10-inch
diameter City pipe line located within Cerritos Avenue be re-
located;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that an agreement be made and entered
into by and between the City of Anaheim and the Orange County
Flood Control District for the relocation of a lO-inch diameter
City pipe line located within Cerritos Avenue, the terms and
conditions of which agreement shall be as follows:
1. The City shall relocate the existing 10-inch
diameter City pipe line located 15 feet north of the center line
of Cerritos Avenue, and shall furnish temporary service as re-
quired for the construction of subject channel.
2. The Orange County Flood Control District shall pay
to the City upon completion of said relocation the actual cost
to the City of performing said work, the estimated cost thereof
being $1,500.00.
Payment is to be made to the City in an amount to be
the actual cost of the work to the City as shown by itemized
statement to be furnished said Orange County Flood Control
District prior to payment.
The City of Anaheim shall relocate said pipe line in
a manner such that Anaheim-Barber City Channel may he constructed
in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor, said
relocation in any event to meet with the approval of the City
Engineer of Anaheim, California, and the Flood Control Engineer
of Orange County Flood Control District.

.AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Ci ty
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized to enter into an
agreement with said Orange County Flood Control District for the
relocation of said pipe line upon the terms and conditions
hereinabove set forth.
