A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for road and public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ANAHEIM UNION WATER COMPANY,
a corporation, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, State of California, to be used for road and public
utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
PARCEL 1:
The North 53.00 feet of the West 207.00 feet and the West
53.00 feet of the North 207.00 feet of the fractional
Northwest quarter of Section 1, Township 4 South, Range
10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, partly
in the City of Fullerton and partly in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as said section is
shown on a map recorded in Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous
Maps, in the office of the county recorder of said county.
EXCEPT that portion thereof described as follows: Beginning
at the northwest corner of said section; thence along the
north line of said section South 890 45' 28" East 45.00 feet;
thence South 00 141 32" West 30.00 feet to the south 1 ine of
Orangethorpe Avenue, 60 feet wide; thence South 450 07' 41"
West 21.17 feet to the east line of Cypress Street, 60 feet
wide; thence North 890 59' 10" West 30.00 feet to the west
line of said section; thence along the west line North 00
00' 50" East 45.00 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2:
That portion of the fractional Northwest quarter of Section
1, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa Ana, partly in the City of Fullerton and
partly in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, as said section is shown on a map recorded in
Book 51, Page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the
county recorder of said county, described as follows:

Beginning at a point on a line 53.00 feet Southerly (as
measured at right angles from the monuffiented center line of
Orangethorpe), and 68.06 feet Easterly (as measured at right
angles from the monumented center line of Cypress Street)
said point also being the beginning of a curve concaVe

southeasterly and having a radius of 15.00 feet; thence
Southwesterly and Southerly along said curve through a
central angle of 900 13' 42" an arc distance of 23.62
feet, to a point on a line 68.06 feet Southerly of said
center line of Orangethorpe and 53.00 feet Easterly of
said center line of Cypress Street; thence North 00 00'
50" East 15.06 feet; thence South 890 45' 28" East 15.06
feet to the point of beginning;
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 16th day of September, 1958.

do hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was passed and
adopted at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council held
on the 16th day of September, 1958, by the following vote of the
members thereof:

Coons.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILHEN: None.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of
Anaheim approved and signed said resolution on the 16th day of
September, 1958.
