A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING A VARIANCE. (NO. 1006)

WHEREAS, the City Planning Oommission of the City of Ana-
receive a petition from the property owners ..&~..
of certain real property situateaL1n the City of
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
The north 270 feet of the east 222 feet of Lot 14 of
Orangewood Tract, in the County of Orange, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 7, Page 42 of
Miscellaneous Maps, in the Orfice of the County Recorder
of said County, the north line of said Lot 14 being the
south line of Orangewood Avenue, as shown on said map,
40 reet wide.
EXCEPT the east 8.5 feet of the north 200 feet thereof.
(Said property is located at 13322 Orangewood Avenue.)

AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a pub-
lic hearing at the Cit~ Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said peti-
tion on July 7, 19S~ , notices of which said public
hearings were duly given as required by law and the provisions of
Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investiga-
tion and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due
consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt its Resolution No. 18 , recommending to the City Coun-
cil of the Oity of Anaheim that Variance No. l~06 be granted upon
the conditions stated in said resolution, an
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There are exceptional or extraordinary circum-
stances or conditions applicable to the property
involved or to the intended use of the property
that do not apply generally to the property or
class of use in the same vicinity and zone.
2. That such a variance is necessary for the pre-
servation and enjoyment of a substantial property
right possessed by other property in the same
vicinity and zone and denied to the property in
question.

3. That the granting of such variance will not be
materially detrimental to the public welfare or
injurious to the property or improvements in such
vicinity and zone in which the property is located.
4. That the granting of such variance will not ad-
versely affect the comprehensive general zoning
plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that a conditional zoning variance be, and the
same is hereby granted to WALTER C. PAULS and PATRICIA PAULS, 13322
Orangewood Avenue, Anaheim, California, to erect a one-story, single-
family dwelling, with a minimum floor space of 900 square feet, upon
the property hereinabove described, subject to the following condi-
tions:

That the owners of subject property deed to the City
of Anaheim a strip of land 4S feet in width, from the
center line of the street, along Orangewood Avenue for
street widening purposes.
2. That the owners of subject property prepare improvement
plans and install all improvements, as required by the
City Engineer.

The City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke such
variance permit for good cause or failure of said owners or their
heirs, successors or assigns, to comply with the Anahei~unicipal
Code and regulations and the conditions herein. Said variance is
granted for the term prescribed by the Anaheim Municipal Code unless
otherwise specified herein.
