RESOLUTION NO. 4692
A RESOLUT ION OF THE C IT'{ COUNC IL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NOo 999 .
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ana--
heim did receive a petition for zoning variance from the lessee.
Sesma Cleaners, of certain real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows~
That certain property located approximately 175 feet
north of the Northwest corner of West La Palma Avenue
and Euclid Avenue.
(Said property is designated and commonly known as
7921 Euclid Avenue, Anaheim.)
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a
public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim on July
7 , 19 1)8 ~ notices of which said publ ie hear ing were duly
given as required by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the
ADaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said City Planning Commission, after due inspec-
tion, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and
after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said
hearing, did adopt Resolution No. 11 , Series 19 ~8-~q , recommeQA-
iam that Variance No* Qqq be o~anten : and
WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date
of the adoption of said resolution, the City Council did elect, upon
its own motion, to review the action taken by the City Planning Com-
mission in aranjinQ said variance and did set a public hearing
thereon to be he1 on the 12th day of An~ust. lq~8 , at 7:00
o'clock P.M. in the City Hall in the City of Anaeim, and notice of
such publiC hearing was duly given as required by law and the provi-
sions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There is no substantial property right possessed by
other property in the same vicinity and tone and
denied the subject property.
2. It appears that the subject property can be ade-
quately developed and used under the present zone.

NOW, THERERJRE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission grant-
ing Variance No. 999 requesting permission to erect a directional sign,
on the property hereinabove described, be and the same is hereby
disapproved, and that Variance No. 999 be, and the same is hereby denied.
