A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND FtJBLIC UTIL::LTY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and public utility
purposes ; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property ha s offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and ---
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of INVEST}llitT IN YOUTH INC.. a
California Corporation
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, to be used for an easement for road and ublic uti lit ur 98es,
and more particularly describe as 1'0 ows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the SO'Jtherly 23 feet of Parcel One and Par'cel Two of' those
parcels of land described as follows:
Parcell: Lots 7, 8 and 9 inclusive of the Schaffer Oswald Sub-
divis:ton, as sloown on a map filed in300k 7, Pa;;;e 41 of IvIiscellan-
eous Maps, Eecords of Oran';e Co'mty, California, also that portion
of tne vacated street adJacent to Lots 4, 5, 6 and 7 abandoned by
~esolution of the City of Anaheim on January 14, 1926, a certified
copy thereof being recorded March 23, 1940, in Book 1029, Page 598
of Official. Records in the office of the County Recorder of said
Oran18 County, California.
Parcel 2: Be~innin~ at t~e intersection of the North line of La
2alma Street and the West Line of 011 ve Street, as shown on a map
of said Schaffer Oswald Subdivision, filed in Book 7, Page 41,

property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the City
of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim,
the sum of One Dollar <$1.00).
