RESOLUTION NO. 46'73
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION AND
DELIVERY OF A DEED QUITCLAIMING CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY TO ANAHE 1M roST NO. 3173, VETERANS
OF FOREIGN \lIARS OF THE UNITED STATES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
on May 29, 1956 authorize the sale of a portion of the herein-
after described real property to the Veterans of Foreign Wars
of the United States of America; and
WHEREAS, an error was made in the description of said
property sought to be conveyed by the City of Anaheim to said
Veterans of Foreign Wars by deed recorded November 7, 1956 in
Book 3702, Page 274, of Official Records in the Office of the
County Recorder of Orange County, California; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it was the
intent of the City to convey all of the property hereinafter
described to said Veterans of Foreign wars;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim remise, release
and quitclaim to Anaheim Post No. 3173, Veterans of Foreign
wars of the United States, a California corporation, the real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows, to wit:
That portion of Lot 39 of Anaheim Extension, in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
as shown on a map made by William Hamel and filed in
the Office of the County Recorder of Los Angeles County,
State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 39; thence
Southerly along the westerly line thereof 235 feet;
thence Easterly, measured at right angles to said
Vesterly line 257.02 feet; thence Northerly along a line
parallel with the westerly line of said Lot 39 to a
point in the northerly line of said Lot 39, said point
being distant 266.08 feet easterly from the northwest
corner of said lot; thence Westerly along said northerly
line 266.08 feet to the point of beginning.

EXCEPT THEREFROM the northerly 50 feet.
ALSO EXCEPT THEREFROM the westerly 33 feet.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to make, execute
and deliver to said Anaheim Post No. 3173, Veterans of Foreign
wars of the United States a good and sufficient Quitclaim Deed,
remising, releasing and quitclaiming the property hereinabove
described, to said Veterans of Foreign wars.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to certify a copy
of this Resolution and cause the same to be attached to the
deed to be executed by the Mayor and the City Clerk on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
