A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for
public purposes, to wit: An easement for public utility purpoSes
; and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and ---
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of M. J. SHORT, a si~le woman,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Cali-
fornia, to be used for publiC uti1it~ purposes ,
and more particularly described as fo lows:
An easement for public utility purposes over,
under and across the 30uther1y 5 Feet of that
parcel of land described as follows:
The Westerly 197.00 feet of Lot 2 of the Kellogg
Homestead Tract, as shown on a map filed in
Book 8, Page 51 of Miscellaneous Maps, records
of Orange County, California.
Excepting therefrom the Southerly 277 feet.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the City
or Anaheim, and that the City of Anah.im accept a conveyance of said
property.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor or the City
or Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the owners or
8aid real property, out or General Funds or the City or Anaheim,
