RESOLUTION NO. 4655
A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE INCLUSICIf OF ADDITIONAL
STREETS IK THE SYSTa OF MA.1at CITY STRElVS

WHEREAS, Section 2052 of the Streets and Highway Code of the
State of California provides that the system of Major City Streets shall
be selected by the City Council on the basis of greatest general City
importance subject to the approval of the Department of Public Works; and

WHEREAS, the City Council of, the City of Anaheim has selected
certain streets which it desires to have included in the system of Major
City Streets, such additional streets being of importance to cross-town
traffic and the industrial developlllent of the City.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUMCIL OF THE CITY OF
AlAHEIM that the Department of Public Works of theStilte of California
be requested to approve a revision of the present system of Major City
Streets and approve the inclusion of the fOllowing streets and portions
of streets in the system of Major City Streets of the City.
