A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEII>I OBJECTING TO THE TAX SALE OF. LOT 7. IN
TRACT NO. 255 AND OFFERING TO PURCHASE SAID LOT.
WHEREAS, Lot 7 in Tract No. 255 in the City of Anaheim,
CQunty of Orange, State of California has been sold to the state
for taxes; and
WHEREAS, the County Tax Collector has declared his in-'
tentlon to sell at public auction said property, pursuant to the
provisions of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State of
Californiaj and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that it would be to
the advantage and for the best interests of the City of Anaheim
to object to said sale and to offer to purchase El~id property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby object to the sale of said
Lot 7 in Tract No. 255 in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, as proposed by the County Tax COllector, and
does hereby offer to purchase said Lot for the sum of $500.00.
BE. ,IT FURTHER HESOLVED that the City Clerk be,.. and she is
hereby, authorized and directed to certify to the adoption of this
Resolution and to furnish to the Board of SuperVisors of the County
of Orange and to the County Tax Collector, certified copies of this
Resolution, together with a request that the City be permitted to
purchase said Lot, pursuant to the provisions of Division 1,
Part 6, Chapter 8 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State
of California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 15th day of October , 1957.
