RESOLUTION NO. 4154
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DENYING WITHOUT PREJUDICE APPLIC~
TION NO. F-57-58-7 FOR A CBJUrGE OF ZONE INA
CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution de-
claring its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones
hereinafter mentioned and described and did fix a time and place
for the holding of a pUblic hearing thereon in the manner and as
prescribed in Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code,
and did duly hold and conduct 8. public hearing to consider such
proposed change of zone or zones and did receive evidence and re-
ports from persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, wit~~n a period of forty (40) days following the
hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce by formal
resolution its findings of f8.cts a.nd declare its opinions and
ree.sons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX, Chapter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed change in the
boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and describedj and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix
the 1st day of October, 1957 as the time and the Council Chambers
in the C1 ty Hall of the City of Anaheim as the place for a public
hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give notice
thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX, Chapter 2
of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heerd and did receive evidence and reports, and did thereupon
consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission and
did continue said hearing to October 15, 1957; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
the property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which
it is nO~J situated to e. different zone, as hereinafter set forth,
is more suitable for the zone in which it is now incorporated and
that a change of zone should not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the Oity of Anaheim that all of the property and 8~ea situated in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:

The Southerly 200.00 feet of the Easterly 91.00 feet
of the Westerly 553.00 feet, measured along the West
and South lines respectively, of the South 8.5 acres
of the West half of the Southwest quarter of the
Southeast qU8xter of Section 20, in Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the RanchO Los Coyotes, County of
Orange, State of California, as the Southeast quarter
of said Section 20 is shown on Record of Survey map
filed in book 17, page 27, Record of Surveys, in the
office of the County Recorder of said Orange County.

West 462.00 feet measured along the South and West
lines, respectively of the South 8 1/2 acres of the
West half of the Southwest qua~ter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 20, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the Rancho Los Coyotes, County of Orange,
State of California, as the Southeast quarter of
said Section 20 is shown on Record of Survey Map
filed in book 17, page 27, Records of Surveys of
said County. -

The Southerly 200.00 feet of the Westerly 280.00 feet
of the Southerly rectangular 8 1/2 acres of the Westerly
half of the Southwest que~ter of the Southeast quarter
of Section 20, in Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
San Berne~dino Base and Meridian, in the Rancho Los
Coyotes, in the County of Orange, State of California.
Parcel 4.
The South 200.00 feet of the East 91.00 feet of the
West 371. 00 feet measured along the South and West
lines respectively, of the South 8 1/2 acres of the
West half of the Southwest que~ter of the Southeast
quarter of Section 20, in Township 4 South, Range 10
West, in the RanchO Los Coyotes, as shown on a map
thereof recorded in book 51, page 7, et seq., Miscel-
laneous MaPs, records of said Orange County, as the
Southeast quarter of said Section 20, is shown on a
map of survey recorded in book 17, page 27, Record of
Surveys, in the office of the Oounty Recorder of said
Orange County.
remain in the R-A, RESIDENTIAL AGRIOULTURAL ZONE in which it is now
incorporated, and that the reclassification to C-l, NEIGHBORHOOD
COW1EF.CIAL ZONE, as recommended by the City Planning Commission in
its F.esolution No. 54 -- Series 1957-58, be denied without prejudice.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 15th day of October, 1957.
