A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DEDICATING
CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY FOR
PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that
certain property located generally on the south side of Carl
Karcher Way (formerly Romneya Drive); and,
WHEREAS, Carl Karcher Way is designated on the
Circulation Element of the General Plan as a street having an
ultimate half-width of thirty-two (32) feet; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the public interest to dedicate the
following described City property to public street purposes to
widen Carl Karcher Way to its ultimate half-width.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby dedicate, for public street
purposes, the following City-owned land, to wit:
A portion of that parcel of land containing
7.509 acres as said parcel is shown on the
Record of Survey recorded in Book 70, Page 25
of Records of Survey in the office of the
County Recorder, County of Orange, described
as follows:
The north 12 feet of the above described
parcel, the south line of said north 12 feet
being 32.0 feet south of and parallel to the
centerline of Carl Karcher Way (formerly
Romneya Drive)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of July, 1999.
