RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.

WHEREAS>> the City Councilor the City or Anaheim is
desirous or purchasing the hereinarter described real property for
pUblic purposes, to wit~ An easement ror road and nublic utility
purposes ; and
WHEREAS~ the owner of said property ha-!- offered to sell
and convey the same to the~ity; and
WHEREAS, the City Councilor the City of ~aheim finds that
it is for the benerit and best interest. of the City of Anaheim to
aooept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of AMANDA SCHNEIDER, a widow,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange>> State of Calif-
ornia, to be used for ~n eaaement for road and public utility nuroo;es,
and more particularly described as follows~
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under
and across the Northerly 50 feet as measured at right angles from the
monumented center line of La Palma Avenue, formerly known as North
Street, of that portion of land located in the City of Anaheim, County
of Orange, state of California, described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot Three, Anaheim Exten-
sion, as surTeyed by William Hamel in 1868 and filed for record with
the County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California; thenQe along the
Westerly line of said lot, South 160 24' 00. East to a point which is
319.82 feet from the Southwest corner of said lot; thence North 740 30'
30. East 297.33 feet; thence North 160 28' 30. West 742.48 feet to a
point on the North line of said Lot Which is South 890 51' 30. East
307.81 feet from the Northwest corner of said lot; thence North
890 51' 30. West 307.81 feet to the Northwest corner of said lot.
Exoepting therefrom the following: Beginning at a point in the
North line of said Lot Three, distant thereon South 890 51' 30' East
307.81 feet from the Northwesterly corner thereof, said point being also
the Northeasterly corner of the land described in Certificate of Title
No. 10,435; thence South 160 281 30' East along the Easterly line ot
said land described in Certifioate of Title No. 10,435, a distance of
200 feet; thence Westerly at right angles to said last mentioned course,
100 feet; thenoe North 160 281 30" West to the North line of said lot;
thence South 890 511 30. East along said North line to the point of
beginning,
be, and the same is hereby. accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim~ and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that tLe City Treasurer of the City
of Anaheim be, and he 1s hereby, authorized to pay to the owners of
said real propertY1 out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the
sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
