RESOLUTION NO. al18
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM GRANTING A VARIANCE. (NO. 808).
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Ana-
heim did receive a petition from the prope~ty owner ~~
of certain real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, Oounty of Orange, State of Oalifo~nia, described as follows:
All that certain land situated in Rancho San Juan
Cajon de Santa ADa described aa tollows:
Lot 6 of Tract 498, Berger-Halt Acre., as anoWD on
a map recorded in Book 19, page ~, Miscellaneo..
Mape, recorda of Orange County, California.
(Said property is also deai~nat.d as 13132 Katella
Aveaue, ....ah.la, Califoraia).
AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a pub-
lic hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said peti-
tion on A~8f 19. 1957 , notices of which said public
hearings were u y given as required by law and the provisions of
Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investiga-
tion and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due
consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing,
did adopt its Resolution No. 36 ,recommending to the City Coun-
cil of the Oity of Anaheim that Variance No. a~8 be granted upon
the conditions stated in said resolution; an
WHEREAS, the City Council does find that:
1. There are exceptional or extraordinary circum-
stances or conditions applicable to the property
involved or to the intended use of the property
that do not apply generally to the property or
class of use in the same vicinity and zone.
2. That such a variance is necessary for the pre-
servation and enjoyment of a substant1al property
right possessed by other property 1n the same
vicinity and zone and denied to the property 1n
question.

3. That the granting of such variance will not be
materially detrimental to the public welfare or
injurious to the property or improvements in such
vicinity and zone in which the property is located.
4. That the granting of such variance will not ad-
versely affect the comprehensive general zoning
plan.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that a conditional zoning variance be, and the
same is hereby granted to WILLIAM L. DORNOK, 13132 Kat.11a AT..ue,
Am..elm, Calitornia, to u.e the garage now in existenc. on the above
des.rlbed property for bonding, waShing, grinding and storage of
auto..blle brake ahoea, upon the following conditions:

1. That all engineering re~uire.ents of the City of
Anaheim be complied wi tltl as required by the City
Engineer.

That the owner of subject property dedicate to the
City of Anahet. a strip of land, along Katella
Avenue, not to exceed 60 feet in width, from the
center line of said street, for atreet widening
purpose., said aaount of land to be determined by
the City Engineer.
That the request of the applicant for permission
to ..end hia application and delete theretrom the
request for later oonstruction ot a building 25 teet
by 50 feet be granted; and that aaid request be
deleted tram said application No. 808 tor a zoning
variance.

That said Variance No. 608 is granted for the tera
of three (3) years from date hereot.
The City Council h.re~ reserves the right to revoke suoh
varianoe pel'llit tor good oau.e or failure ot said owner, his heirs.
