RESOLUTION NO. 67R-53
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for rOnd
and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner of said property has offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and ----
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the city of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of BRYAN INDUSTRIAL
PROPERTIES INCa, a California corpo~ation,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road a~d public util~ty pur?oses
, an more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across a portion of Lot 6 of the South Placentia
Tract No.2, as per Map thereof recorded in Book 5, page 42
of Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
California, de.5cribed as follows:
Beginning at the Southeast corner of that parcel of land
conveyed to Bryan Industrial properties Inc. described in
deed recorded October 4, 1965 in Book 8066, page 538 of
Official Records, said Southeast corner being the intersection
of the center line of Via Burton Street and Placentia Avenue;
thence North 140 08' 11" East along said center line of
Placentia Avenue 31.24 feet; thence North 750 51' 49" West to
a point in a line that is parallel with and distant 45 feet,
as measured at right angles from the center line of said
Placentia Avenue, said point being the beginning of a curve
concave Northwesterly, having a radius of 15 feet and tangent
to said parallel line; thence Southerly and westerly along
said curve through a central angle of 750 48' 33" an arc
distance of 19.85 feet to the intersection with a line that
is parallel with and distant 30 feet North of the center line
of Via Burton Street, as measured at right angles; thence
South 000 03' 16" East 30 feet to the center line of said
Via Burton Street; thence Easterly along said center line,
50.51 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING that portion lying within the existing right of
way of Via Burton street and Placentia Avenue.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
