RESOLUTION NO. 67R- 52
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to
sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of ALBERT MASLON, a married
man, as his separate property, as to an undivided one-fourth
interest; HOWARD ENGELMAN, a married man, as to an undivided
one-fourth interest; BEN HELLER, doing business as Heller
Investment Co., an undivided one-half interest, and ALMA HELLER,
his wife; and BETTY JOE ENGELMAN, wife of HOWARD ENGELMAN, to
sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for an easement for road and public
utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of the Northwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 9, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, as the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter of
said Section 9 is shown on a Map of Survey filed in Book
1, page 56 of Record of Surveys, in the office of the
County Recorder of said Orange County, described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of La Palma
Avenue and Euclid Street, said point also being the North-
west corner of said Section 9; thence South 890 45' 2211
East along the center line of said La Palma Avenue, a
distance of 168 feet; thence South 00 03' 3811 West a
distance of 53 feet to a point in a line that is parallel
with and 53 feet Southerly as measured at right angles to
the center line of said La Palma Avenue; thence North
890 45' 22" West along said parallel line a distance of
89.92 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave
Southeasterly and having a radius of 25 feet, thence
Westerly and Southerly along said curve through a central
angle of 900 11' 0011 an arc distance of 39.35 feet to a
point in a line that is parallel with and 53 feet Easterly,
as measured at right angles to the center line of said
Euclid Street; thence South 00 03' 3811 West along said
parallel line a distance of 89.92 feet; thence North
890 45' 2211 West a distance of 53 feet to the center line
of said Euclid Street; thence North 00 03' 38" East along
the center line of said Euclid Street, a distance of
168 feet to the point of beginning.

be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTRER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
