A RESOLUTION OF THE CI'I'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN
EASEMENT FOR... ROAD AND PUBLIC UT!LITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Councll of the City of' Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the herelnaf'ter described real property for
pUblic purposes, to wit: An easement for road and publIc utilijv
purposes ; an
WHEREAS, the owner s of' said property ha...!!L offered to sell
and convey the same to the-critYJ and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and best interest; of the City of Anaheim to
accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the offer of JOSEPH D. HUARTE and DOROTHY C.

situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of Calif-
ornia, to be used for road and public utili tv purposes ,
and more particularly described as ollows~
An easement for road and public utility purposes over, under and
across the Northerly 40 feet as measured at right angles from the
monumented center line of La Palma Avenue formerly known as North
Street, of that portion of land located in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Lot Two of Tract No. 153, Monroe E. Wallace Sub.,as shown on a Map
recorded in Book 11, Page 46 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of
Orange County, California.
Excepting therefrom the Easterly 236 feet.
Also excepting therefrom as follows: Beginning at the intersection
of the Northwesterly prolongation of the West line of said Lot Two
with the center line of La Palma Avenue (formerly North Street), as
shown on said Map; thence South 89050130"East along the center line
of said La Palma Avenue, a distance of 399.85 feet; thence South
15D08130llEast 352.96 feet; thence North 80.43'15I1East 197.L~8 feet
to the Westerly line of land described in deed to James Wetton and
wife, recorded April 10, 1928, in Book 148, page 389 of' Official
Records; thence South 1604115011 East 377.96 feet along said Westerly

564.80 feet to the Southwest corner of said Lot Two; thence North
17.01'0011 West 861.42 feet to the point of beginning.

of Anaheim, and that the City of AnaheIm accept a conveyance of said
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that tL8 City Treasurer of the City
of Anaheim be, and he 1s hereby, authorized to pay to the owers of
said real property, out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the
sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
