A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF' THE CITY
OF' AHAlIEIM AUTJK)RIZING THE PURCHASE OF A
WATER TANK BODY FOR AN IJlrTERNATIONAL TRUCK.
WHEREAS, the City Counci~ does find and determiae
that public convenience and necessity require the purchase
of a gas and water line construction and maintenance body
for an international truck; and
WHEREAS, Standard Auto B0dy Company, Inc., 4900
South Soto Street, Los Angeles 58, California, has offered
to furnish a gas and water line construction and maintenance
hody, built entirely to the specifications of the City of
Anaheim, as per €lty of Anaheim Prlat #0-5-1318, complete
with installation and painting, for a price of $3590.00,
plus applicable taxes, delivery to be made withln 69 days
after approval of drawing to be submitted by Standard Auto
Body Company, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that said price
is the lowest obtainable for the purchase and installaticD
of a gas and water line construction and maintenance body,
built entirely to our specifIcations, and that the offer
of Staadard Auto Body Company, Inc. should be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the offer of Standard Auto Body
Company, Inc., 4900 South Soto Street, Los Angeles 58,
California, to furnish a gas and water line construction and
maintenance body, built entirely to the specifications of
the City of Anaheim, as per Print #0-5-1318, complete with
installation and painting, including installation of City's
compressor, furnishing and installing air reels and one ^
Vulcan #3 Vise, for a price of $3590.00, plus 4% sales tax,
or a total price of $3733.60, delivery to be made within
60 days after approval of drawing, be, and the same is here-
by accepted; and that the Purchasing Agent of the City of
Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authori~ed to purchase said
gas and water line construction and maintenance body from
said Standard Auto Body Company, Inc.
THE FOREGOING RE50LUTION is approved and signed
by me thi s 25th day of June, 1957.
