A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM EXCLUD LNG CERTAIN TERRITORY FRC>>A
NORTHEAST ANNEXATION NO. 2-A CONSTITUTING
LESS THAN FIVE PER CENT OF THE TarAL AREA
THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did on the 16th day of April, 1957 receive a written peti-
tion asking that certain new territory described in said
petition be annexed to the City of Anaheim, which said
territory was thereafter designated "NORTHEAST ANNEXATION
NO. 2-A"; and
WHEREAS, on said date the City Council of the City
of Anaheim did adopt Resolution No. 3814 declaring its in-
tention to call a special election, and did fix the 21st day
of May, 1957, at 7:00 olclock P.M., as the day, hour and
place when and where any person owning real property within
said territory could appear before the legislative body of
the City of Anaheim and show cause why such territory should
not be annexed to the Ci ty of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, said City Council did hold and conduct
public hearings on the 21st day of May, 1957 and on the 11th
day of June, 1957; and
WHEREAS, certain property owners owning property
within the territory proposed to be annexed have requested
that the following described property be excluded from the
territory proposed to be annexed to the City of Anaheim,
to wi t :

AND WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the total
area of the above described property so requested to be ex-
cluded from said annexation is less than five per cent (5%)
of the total area of the territory originally proposed to be
annexed to the City of Anaheim and that it would be to the
advantage of, and for the benefit of said property owners
and the City of Anaheim to exclude the territory hereinabove
described from said proposed annexation.
NOW, THEREfORE, BE IT RESOLVED byfue City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the territory hereinabove men-
tioned and described be, and the same is hereby, excluded
from the territory designated and described as NORTHEAST
ANNEXATION NO.2-A, and from all subsequent proceedings in
said matter.
THE fOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed
