A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING
CRIMINAL JUSTICE ADMINISTRATION
FEES TO BE CHARGED BY THE POLICE
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, it is the policy of the City Council of the
City of Anaheim to establish the amount of fees by resolution;
and
WHEREAS, the fees established herein are authorized by
California Government Code Section 29550.3 and are imposed under
Anaheim Municipal Code Section 1.24.010 upon all persons arrested
by Anaheim officers or agents and all persons booked or processed
to the Anaheim detention facility, upon conviction of any offense
related to the arrest, other than an infraction; and
WHEREAS, the fees herein established do not exceed the
estimated reasonable cost of providing the services for which the
fees are charged; and
WHEREAS, the City Council further finds and determines
that this establishment of fees is exempt from the provisions of
the California Environmental Quality Act pursuant to Section
21080(b)(8) of the California Public Resources Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the fees to be charged by the Police
Department of the City of Anaheim shall be in the amounts set
forth in the attached Exhibit A, which is attached hereto and
incorporated by reference herein.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 24~h day of
