A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED CONVEYING
TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY
FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to wit: An easement for road and publie
utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said. real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HENRY LEE PARSONS AND
FERN lREN~ PARSONS, husband and wife, RAYMOND C. SMITH AND
~~DETH C. SMITH, husband and wife, WILLARD ORVAL DAVIS AND
LA VONA LEE DAVIS, husband and wife, to sell to the City of
Anaheim the following described real property situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to be
used for an easement for road and public utility purposes, and
more particularly described as follows:

An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across those parcels of land located in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
descrited as follows:
PARCEL 1: The East 40 feet of that nortion of Lot
28 of Anaheim Extension as shown on a Map of Survey made by
William Hamel and filed in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, a copy of which is recorded in Book
3, Page 163 entitled "Los Angeles County Maps," in the office
of the County Recorder of Orange County, California, described
as follows: Beginning at a point on the Easterly line of said
Lot 28, Southerly 442 feet measured along said Easterly line
from the Northeast corner of said lot (said Northeast corner
being for the purpose of this description the intersection of
the center lines of Vermont Avenue and Harbor Boulevard);
thence\'iesterly 272.25 feet parallel with the Northerly line
of said lot; thence Northerly 80 feet parallel with the
Easterly line of said lot; thence Easterly 272.25 feet
parallel with the Northerly line of said lot to the Easterly
line of said lot; anct thence Southerly 80 feet along said
Easterly line to the point of beginning.
PARCEL 2: The East 10 feet of that portion of Lot 28
of Ane~eim Extension as shown on a Map of Survey made by
William Hamel and filed in the office of the County Recorder
of Los Angeles County, a copy of which is recorded in Book 3,
Page 163 entitled "Los Angeles County Maps, II in the office of
the County Recorder of Orange County, California, described as
follows: Beginning at the point of inte~section of a line
which is parallel with and distant Southerly 442 feet measured
at right angles from the Northerly line of said Lot 28 with
the Westerly line of Palm Street, as described in deed at
Orange County recorded March 19, 1930 in Book 362, Page 406
of Official Records; thence Westerly 173 feet along said

parallel line; thence Southerly 96 feet parallel with the
Easterly line of said Lot 28; thence Easterly parallel
with the Northerly line of said Lot 28 to said Westerly line
of Palm Street; thence Northerly along said Westerly line of
Palm Street to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a conveyance
of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owners of said real property, out of General Funds of the City
of Anaheim, the sum of One and nO/lOa Dollars ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
this 2Jrd day of April, 1957.
