A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM FINDING AND D$TERMINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE IS NECESSARy IN CERTAIN AREAS
OF THE CITY AND THAT ARTICLE IX, CHAPTER 2, OF
THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE SHOULD BE AMENDED
TO ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commiss~on of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declaring its
intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding
of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in
Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly
hold and conduct two public hearings to consider such proposed
ohange of zone or zones and did receive evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEREAS, within a period of forty (40) days following the
final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did dUly announce
by formal resolution its findings of facts and declare its ouinions
and reasons for recommending an amendment to said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to effect the proposed
changes of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
described; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the
9th day of April , 195 7 ,as the time and the
Council Chambers in the City Hall of ~City of Anaheim as the plaoe
for a public hearing upon said proposed change of zone and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct suoh public hearing and
did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon consider the
recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be changed from the zone in which it
is now situated to a different zone as hereinafter set forth, is
more suitable for the zone or zones to which it is proposed to
change said property and area and that the inclusion of said prop-
erty and area in such new zone or zones will increase the value of
said property and area and will not depreciate the values of prop-
erty in adjOining zones.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows, to wit:

The South 60 feet of the Westerly 350 feet, measured from
the center line of Magnolia Avenue, of the following
described property:
That portion of the Southwest quarter of the Southwest
quarter of Section 6, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
S. B. B. & M., described as follows:

Beginning at the Southwest corner of saiu Section 6; thence
North 00 39' 00" West along the Westerly line of said Section
6 a distance of 521.90 feet; thence North 890 21' 20" East
oarallel with the Southerly line of said Section 6 a distance
of 899.18 feet; thence South 0046' 0011 East 521.90 feet to
the Southerly line of said Section 6; thence South 890 21' 2011
West to the point of beginning.

1. That the owner of subject prope!rty place of record
a"ppropriate C-2 Deed Restrictions as required by the
City of Anaheim and approved by the City Attorney.
2. Said change of Zone shall not become effective unless
within sixty days, or such further time as the Council
may grant, the restrictions herein required to be im-
posed upon the property shall have been executed by the
owners of the property, submitted to the City for approval
and filed of record, nor until deeds for Street widening
or utility purposes, when ~equired, have been executed and
delivered to the City.
