A RESOLUTION OF THE cm CQmvCIL OF THE crn
OF AliAHEDI ACCEPTIlfG A GRAn D:DD COliVEYIlfG
TO THE cm OF ANAHEIM CER'!AIIl REAL PROPERTY
FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES. '
WBERKAS, the City of ADaheta did heretofore enter
into an escrow with ADaheim Boys' Ce.ter, Inc.~ a California
corporation, at Grover Escrow Corpor_tion, III South Illinois,
Anaheim, California, for the purchas$ of the hereinafter des-
oribed real property for public purposes; and
WHEREAS, said Grover Escro~ Corporation is now ready
to close said escrow and a deed has been prepared conveying
said property to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all en-
cumbrances exoept all general and special taxes for fiscal year
1951-58, and taxes which are not yet due; including special dis-
trict levies, and' covenants, condi tidns, restriotions, reserva-
tions, rights, rights of way and easements of record.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the deed conveying the following des-
cribed property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to wit:
Lot 22 of the Ori~inal Town of Anaheim as show>>
on a map in Book 4, Pages 629 and 630 of Deeds,
in the office of the County Recorder of Los
ADgele. County.
Excepting therefrom the following deseribed por-
tion of said Lot 22: The Southerly 106.50 feet
of the Westerly 55.50 feet of the Easterly 75.20
feet,
to the City of Anaheim, free and clear of all encumbrances,
except as hereinabove set forth, be, and the same is hereby~
accepted by the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said escrow holder be, and
it is hereby authorized to deliver to said Vendor the amount of
the purchase price for said property heretofore deposited in es-
crow, when all conditions of said escrow have been met and com-
plied with.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is signed and approved by me
