RESOLUTION NO. _~1;42
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHtIM FINDING AND DE~ERKINING THAT A
CHANGE OF ZONE IS NEOESSARY IN CERTAIN AREAS
OF THE CITY AND THAT ARTIQLE IX, CHAPTER 2, OF
THE ANAHEIK MUNICIPAL CO~ SHOULD BE AMENPE>>
TO ACCOMPLISH SAID CHANGE OF ZONE .
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commiss~on of the City of Anaheim
has heretofore duly passed and adopted a ~esolution deolaring its
intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter
mentioned and described and did fix a time and place for the holding
of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in
Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly
hold and oonduct two public hearings to oonsider such proposed
ohange of zone or zones and did receive evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
WHEEEAS, wi thin a period of forty (.40) days fonowing the
final hearing thereon, the Planning Commission did duly announce
by formal resolution its findings of faota and deolare its oninions
and reasons for reoommending an amendment to said Artiole IX,
Ohapter 2 of the Anaheim Munioipal Code to effect the proposed
ohanges of the boundaries of the zone hereinafter mentioned and
desoribed; and
WHEREAS, upon reoeipt of the report and recommendation ot
the City Planning Commission, the City Council did thereupon fix the
~day of Hareh , 195.1n~' as the time and the
~hambers in the Oity Hall of tE:e"Oity of Anaheim as the plaoe
for a public hearing upon said proposed ohange of zone and dtd give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided in said Artiole IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Munioipal Code; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing,
the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public hearing and
did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard
and did receive evidenoe and reports and did thereupon oonsider the
recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, the Oity Council does find and determine that the
property and area proposed to be ohanged from the zone in which it
is now situated to a different zone as hereinafter set forth, is
more 8uitable for the zone or zones to whioh it is proposed to
ohange said property and area and that the inclusion of said prop-
erty and ar,a in such new zone or zones will increase the value of
said property and area and will not depreoiate the values of prop-
erty in adjoining zones.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the
City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, desoribed
as follows, to wit:

Paroel 1: Beginning at a point in the Northerly line or Lincoln
Avenue, being 330 reet East or the Northeast corner ot
Lincoln and Dale Avenues, thence Easterly 1469 teet
along the Northerly line or Lincoln, thence North 546 reet
to the Southeast corner or Traet 3007, thence West
739 reet to a point in the Westerly line or the Edison
easement, thence South along said easement, 50 reet to
a point, thence Westerly 730 r$et to a point 496 teet
North or the north line or Lincoln Avenue, thence South
496 teet to the point or beginning.
