57R-3725 -. ,-., RESOLUTION NO. 3725. r- A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING VARIANCE NO. 693. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a petition from the owners of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, more particularly described and set forth in said Petition for Zoning Variance, Application No. 693, and in Resolution No. 149 -- Series 1956-57 of the City Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, the City Plannin~ Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said petition on February 4, 1957, notices of which said public hearing were duly given as required by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspection, investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports of- fered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No.' 149 __ Series 1956-57, hereinabove referred to, recommending to the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Variance No. 693 be granted upon the conditions stated in said resolution; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty (20) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, written appeals were filed with the City Council of the City of Anaheim pro- testing the action of the City Planning Commission granting said variance, and said appeals were set for public hearing on the 12th day of March, 1957, at 7:00 Of clock P.M., in the City Hall in the City of Anaheim, and notice of such public hearing was duly given as required by law and the provisions of Section 9200.17 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, after due investigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf, and after due consideration of all the evidence and reports offered at said hearing, the City Council does find that: 1. There is no substantial property right possessed by other property in the same vicinity and zone and denied the sub- Ject property. 2. It appears that the subject proparty can be adequately developed and used under the present zone. r NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that the action of the City Planning Commission granting Variance No. 693, requesting permission to erect a BOWLING ALLEY and RESTAtmANT on the property described in said Petition for Zoning Variance, Application No. 693, be, and the same is hereby, disapproved, and that Variance No. 693 be, and the same is hereby, denied. -1- ,-.- ..-..
