AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 1, SECTION 1.04...110 AND. ADDING A NEW
SECTION .1.04.560 CREATING A REDEVELOPMENT
DEPARTMENT.
THE CITY COUNCIL DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Section 1.04.110..of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: -
"1.04.110 City Departments Created. There are
hereby created for the, government -of
the city the following departments: -
Police Department
Fire Department
Utilities' Department
Public Works:Department
Parks:, Recreation, and the Arts Department
Finance Department .
Development Services Department
Legal Department
Personnel Department
City. Clerk Department
Library Department
Redevelopment Department and
Stadium and Convention Center. Department"
SECTION 2.
That Section 1.04.560.of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby added to read as follows: -
"1004.560 Redevelopment Department.: The.'Redevelop-
ment Department shall be:under the .super-
vision of a Redevelopment Director, which
office. is hereby. created. The Redevelop-
ment Director -shall have 'direct responsi-
bility for the.administration and technical
operations of th-e Redevelopment Department
and for the -implementation of community re-
development projects."
'SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to -the passage :of this
Ordinance and shall: cause the 'same :to be. printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its, adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of_ general circulation, printed, .published and
circulated in said City., and thirty (30). days from and after
its- final pass -age,' it shall take :effect :and be'. in full force.
