3334ORDINANCE NO. 3334
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMEND-
ING TITLE 18 OF THE ANAHEIM MUTIICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO ZONING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES FIND
THAT:
WHEREAS, the City Council did adopt its Resolution
No. 543 -Series 1962-6-3 determining that a change or
changes in the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and des-
cribed should be made as hereinafter set forth, after duly
noticed hearings and receipt of the report and recommendation
of the City Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, certain conditions and requirements were
made as conditions precedent to the making of a change or
changes of said zone or zones, which conditions have been com-
plied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code relating
to Zoning be, and the same is hereby, amended by changing the
boundaries of the zones set forth in said Title 18 by adopting
a sectional zoning map or maps showing such change or changes
as follows:
That all of the area situated in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, described as follows,
to wit:
Lot No. 14 of Tract No. 483 as shown in Book 17,
Pape 20, of Miscellaneous Maps on file in the office
of the Recorder of Orange County, Calif.
now is C-3, HEAVY COMMERCIAL ZONE, and that it be changed to and
incorporated in C-1, GENERAL COMMERCIAL ZONE, upon the following
conditions:
1. That adequate areas for trash storage, accessible
to trash -truck pickup, shall be provided as deter-
mined and required by the Street Maintenance and
Sanitation Division of the Public Works Department,-'
which areas shall be enclosed by a solid .fence or
wall prior to final building inspection.
2. That subject property shall be developed in accord-
ance with plans approved by the City Council incor-
porating the removal of the residential structures,
if any, and replacement with commercial buildings,
in accordance with all applicable provisions con-
tained herein and all applicable provisions con-
tained in Title 18 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.

3. That a 60 -foot building setback from the planned
highway right-of-way line of La Palma Avenue shall
be established for subject property.
4. That tree wells shall be provided in the parkway
portion of La Palma Avenue, spaced at approximately
40 -foot intervals; that plans for said landscaping
shall be submitted to and approved by the Superin-
tendent of Parkway Maintenance, and that said land-
scaping shall be installed prior to final building
inspection.
SECTION 2.
The City Zoning Map shall be, and the same is hereby,
amended, and the property above described shall be excluded from
the zone in which it is now situated, and incorporated in and
made a part of the zone or zones as above set forth, and said
City Zoning Map as amended is hereby adopted and the City Engi-
neer is hereby directed to prepare a sectional zoning map to be
added to the City Zoning Map showing the changes hereby approved
and adopted.
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
