AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
.-� TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1.04f SECTION 1.04.110 AND
TITLE 13, CHAPTER 13.04, RELATING TO PARKS
AND RECREATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Section 1.04.110 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
be, and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04 be, and the same is hereby
amended by adding thereto new section 1.04.110 to read as
follows;
"SECTION 1.04.110 CITY DEPARTMENTS CREATED. There are
hereby created for the government of the City the following
departments;
Police Department
Fire Department
Utilities Department
Public Works Department
Parks, Recreation, and theArts Department
Finance Department
Development Service Department
Legal Department
Personnel Department
City Clerk Department, and
Library Department"
SECTION 3.
That Title 13, Chapter 13.04 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding Section
13.04.070 to read as follows;
"SECTION 13.04.070 PARK AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT AND
DIRECTOR -- TITLES AMENDED. Any reference in this Title
and Chapter to 'Park and Recreation' used to describe
the Department and Director are hereby amended to 'Parks,
Recreation, and the Arts'."
SECTION 4.
SEVERABILITY. The City Council of the City of Anaheim
hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence or
word of this chapter of the Code hereby adopted be declared for
any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that
it would have passed all other portions of this chapter independent
of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared
invalid.

SECTION 5.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City? and thirty (34) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by me
