AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF A14AHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1.04, SECTIONS 1.04.540 AND
1.04.550 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELAT-
ING TO ALLOWANCE FOR EXPENSES TO MEMBERS OF
THE REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AND PROVIDING
FOR APPROPRIATIONS THEREFOR.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04, Section 1.04.540 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 1.04.540 EXPENSE ALLOWANCE -- REDEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION MEMBERS.
Members of the Redevelopment Commission shall serve at
no salary, but may be reimbursed for travel and subsis-
tence expenses incurred in the performance of their
duties.
Each member may be allowed a sum not to exceed Fifty
Dollars ($50.00) per commission meeting attended by the
member. The allowance authorized by this paragraph
need not be accounted for by.the recipient, but no other
expenses shall be allowed except upon specific authori-
zation therefor by the Agency."
SECTION 2.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04, Section 1.04.550 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"SECTION 1.04.550 APPROPRIATIONS..
The Agency may, by resolution, appropriate funds for the
reimbursement of members of the Redevelopment Commission
authorized by Section 1.04.540."
SECTION 3.
THE City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and cir-
culated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its
final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.

THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and signed by
