57R-3704 - - ,.... RESOLUTION NO. 3704 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2584 RELATING TO A CHANGE OF ZONE IN CER- TAIN AREAS OF THE CITY. WHEREAS, heretofore, on the 23rd day of Novemher, 1954, the City Council did adopt Resolution No. 2584 finding and de- termining that the property described in said res~lution should be changed from the classification of R-3, Multiple-Family Resi- dential Zone and R-A, Residential-Agricultural Zone, to a P-l, Parking-Landscaping Zone 60 feet in depth, and a C-l, Neighborhood Commercial Zone from the rear of the P-L, Parking-Landscaping Zone to the alley; and WHEREAS, the City Council d~p adopt Resolution No. 3672 on the 22nd day of January, 1957 amending said Resolution No. 2584 by eliminating therefrom the P-L, Parking-LandsGaping Zone 60 feet in depth, and p~oviding far a 15-f~ot building: set-back line, and by eliminating therefrom the requirement that 75% of the area be maintained for service and customer parking; and WHEREAS, the City Counci.l did find .that dwellings are situated within said area at the present time, which dwellings are occupied and used for residential purposes; and WHEREAS, the City Council does further find that through inadvertence, Resolution No. 2584, Paragraph 2, Subdivision (d), Page 2, did provide that no building shall be used for ~esidential purposes unless rezoned; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find that said restric- tion should be el iainated from Resolution No. 2584. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 2584, heretofore adopted on November 23, 1954, be, and the same is hereby, amended as fol- lows : (1) That Paragraph 2, Subdivision (d), Page 2, read- ing as follows: "That no building shall be used for residential purposes unless rezoned," be rescinded and eliminated therefrom. (2) That in all other respects said Resolution No. 2584, except as amended by Resolution No. 3672, be and remain in full force and effect. . AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to prepare and submit to the City Council an amendment to Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Anaheim Municipal Code to accomplish the object herein found and determined to be necessary and proper. ,-...
