AND THE FURNISHING OF ALL LABOR AND EQUIPMENT
TO D!STALL PRHlARY AND SECONDARY ELECTRICAL
DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES ALONG THE v,'EST SIDE OF
THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC COvPANY RIGHT OF WAY FROM
BALL ROAD TO CERRIT03 AVEi\'UE, AND IN TRACT NO.
1979, WORK ORDER NO. 2319.
1:J:EREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did
fino, and eeter-mine that Dublic convenience and necessity required
the installation of primary and secondary electrical distribution
facilities, ccnsisting of poles as indicated, pole lines, cross-
arms, seccndary rac1l:s, insulators, transformers, fuse cut-outs,
etc., alon~ the West side of the Southern Pacific Company right of
way from Ball :-'.oad to Cerr-i tOB Avenue, Etnd in Tract No. 1979, 1;101'11:
Order No. 2319, in accordance with the design, plans, profiles,
drawings ancl/or specifications prepared by the Superintendent of
the LiF;ht, Pov'er a.nd ':Fa tel' Depe.rtment of the City of Anaheim; and
wHEREAS, the City Council did further find that the
contractor, in the furnishinp; of all labor and all tools, equip-
ment, apnarHtu8, facilities, plant, services and_ materials, ex-
ceot those to be furnished by the City of Ana.heim, necessary to
install se.i6 primary and secondary electrical distribution facili-
ties waule' be subject to the provisions of Section 1775, Sections
1810 to 1817, and Sections 1850 to 1854, inclusive, of the Labor
Code of California, and 1'111 other provisions of said. Code relating
to the perfor-rr.8.nce of said T.mrk, ane ,muld be required to pay to
every laborer or mechanic employed by it in the performance of said
",.ork not less than the per diem rate of wages for legal holidays
and. overtime vior}: theretofore est&blished; and

on the 26th day of December, 1956 at 7:00 0'cloc1l: P. 11'1. to con-
s ider proposals submitted. for furnishin[ all labor and perform-
ing tne wor1l: hereinabove more Darticularly described, and the
Counc:.l did fine'; and determine that the offer of SCHURR & FINLAY,
TiJC. ,,,as tne lowest obtaineble for the furnishing of all labor to
install and cOffiDlete said oublic improvement, to \vi t: The furnish-
ing of all labor ano. ecuipment to install Drimary and secondary
electrical distribution facilities, consisting of poles as indicated,
pole lines, cross-arme, secondary racks, insulators, transformers,
fuse cut-outs, etc., alon~. the 'Jest side of the Southern Pacific
Company riCht of vJaY from Ball Road to Cerri tOE Avenue, and in
Tract No. 1979, Work Order No. 2J19, and thereupon accepted said
offer and did. avrard a contract to said Schurr & Finlay, Inc. for
furnishine all tools, equipment, apparatus, facilities, plant,
labor, services, and materials, except those to be furnished by
the City of Ane.heim, and all utili ties and transportation, includ-

install, construct and complete, in a good and. workmanlike manner,

together with the appurtenances thereto, in strict accordance ,,,ith
