RESOLUTION NO. 66R -774
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A RELEASE AND ASSIGNMENT IN FAVOR OF
GLENS FALLS INSURANCE COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the Engineering Division and the Utilities
Department of the City of Anaheim have heretofore recommended
to the City Council that Tract No. 3635, located in the City
of Anaheim be completed and that all improvements described
in Bond No. 85 -42 -30 be installed; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned Division and Department
of the City of Anaheim have recommended that the sum of
$6,900.00 is sufficient to complete the improvements in Tract
No. 3635; and
WHEREAS, Glens Falls Insurance Company, the surety
obligated under Bond No. 85- 42 -30, has tendered a draft in the
sum of $6,900.00, upon execution of the Release and Assignment
governing Tract No. 3635.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it authorize, and it does hereby
authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the Release and
Assignment prepared by Glens Falls Insurance company in full
settlement of all claims outstanding against Glens Falls Insur-
ance Company as to Tract No. 3635, and does further hereby
acknowledge payment of said $6,900.00 by said Glens Falls
Insurance Company in full satisfaction of all claims which the
City of Anaheim may have against Glens Falls Insurance Company
relative to Tract No. 3635 located in the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 13th day of December, 1966.
