AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ADDING SECTION 4.52,100
TO TITLE 4, CHAPTER 4.52 PERTAINING TO
PEDDLERS AND SOLICITORS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 4, Chapter 4.52, Section 4.52.100 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code is hereby enacted to read as follows:
4.52.100 CURBSIDE NUMBERING PERMIT REQUIRED.
In addition to the other requirements of this Code
of Anaheim, all persons or group of persons or
agents thereof or persons peddling, soliciting or
canvassing from house to house for the purpose of
seeking orders for the numbering or the painting
of residential numbers on curbsides, shall, before
engaging in any such activity, obtain a permit
therefor from the City License Collector.
SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDI14ANCE is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1st day of December, 1981.
