CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for
road and public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owner s of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of HOMER C. GUTTRIDGE and
MAUDE GUTTRIDGE, husband and wife,
that it

property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for
road and public utility Purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility.purposes
over, under and across that portion of Lot 28 of
Anaheim Extension, as shown on a Map of Survey
made by William Hamel and filed in the office of the
County Recorder of Los Angeles County, California, a
copy of which is shown in Book 3, pages 163 et seq.,
entitled "Los Angeles County Maps," in the office
of the County Recorder of said Orange County,
described as follows:
Beginning at the center line intersection of Ball
Road and Harbor Boulevard; thence Northerly along
the center line of said Harbor Boulevard a distance
of 423.98 feet to a point on said center line; thence
South 89° 46' 30" West to a point on a line that is
parallel with and distant 53 feet Westerly of said
center line; thence Southerly along said parallel
line to a point on the center line of Ball Road;
thence Easterly along said center line of Ball Road
to the point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within Harbor
Boulevard right of way deeded to the City of Anaheim
for road and public utility purposes by deed recorded
January 31, 1966 in Book 7826, page 731 of said
Official Records of Orange County.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
