RESOLUTION NO. 4R-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING EASEMENT GRANT DEED
CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CERTAIN REAL
PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR ROAD AND PUBLIC
UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes
and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property ha ve offered
and convey the same to t e City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
of Anaheim that the offer of FRANCIS W. ELLIOTT and
D. ELLIOTT, husband and wife,
to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, to be used for an easement for road and
public utility purposes
and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across that portion of Lots land 2 of Tract
2481, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 72, page 29 of
Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the centerline intersection of Lincoln
Avenue and La Plaza; thence South 74° 30' 00" West
along the centerline of said Lincoln Avenue, 160.89 feet;
thence at right angles to said centerline of Lincoln
Avenue, 53 feet to a point on a line that is parallel
with and distant 53 feet Northerly of said centerline;
thence Easterly along said parallel line, 120.86 feet to
the beginning of a tangent curve concave Northwesterly
and having a radius of 15 feet; thence Easterly and
Northerly along said curve through a central angle of 88°
25' 00" an arc distance of 23.15 feet to a point on a
line that is parallel with and distant 27 feet Westerly
of the centerline of La Plaza; thence Easterly at right
angles to said parallel line, 27 feet to a point on the
centerline of said La Plaza, said point being Northerly
66.87 feet from the point of beginning; thence Southerly
along said centerline 66.87 feet to the point of beginning.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00)0
