A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT
DEED CONVEYING TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR AN EASEMENT FOR
ROAD AND PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for municipal purposes, to wit: An easement for road and
public utility purposes; and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered
to sell and convey the same to the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City
of Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the offer of PHILIP H. McFARLAND, a
married man, as his sole and separate property, as to an undivided
one fourth interest; MERLIN L. NEFF, a married man, as his sole
and separate property, as to an undivided one fourth interest;
THOMAS LAWTON, a married man, as his sole and separate property,
as to an undivided one fourth interest; and JOSEPH P. CONATY, a
married man, as his sole and separate property, as to an
undivided one fourth interest, all as tenants in common, to sell
to the City of Anaheim the following described real property
situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, to be used for an easement for road and public
utility purposes, and more particularly described as follows:
An easement for road and public utility purposes
over, under and across the Northerly 5 feet of
the Southerly 60 feet of the West 240.00 feet
of that portion of the Southeast quarter of the
Southwest quarter of the Southeast quarter of
Section 23, Township 4 South, Range 10 West,
in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, as
per Map recorded in Book 51, page 10 of Miscel-
laneous Maps, records of said Orange County,
lying East of the East line of the West 1.00 acre
of said Southeast quarter of the Southwest quarter
of the Southeast quarter of said Section 23.
be, and the same is hereby, accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim, and that the City of Anaheim accept a convey-
ance of said property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Auditor of the
City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized to pay to the
owner or owners of said real property, out of General Funds of
the City of Anaheim, the sum of One Dollar ($1.00).
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 15th day of November 19 66
