AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AMENDING SUBSECTION .030 OF SECTION
1.04.710 AND SUBSECTION .040 OF
SECTION 1.04.995 OF CHAPTER 1.04
OF TITLE 1 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE RELATING TO OFFICERS AND DEPARTMENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:

That subsection .030 of Section 1.04.710 of
Chapter 1.04 of Title 1 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be,
and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
".030 Each member of the Board shall
serve for a term of four years and until their
respective successors are appointed and qualified;
provided,however, that the terms of the Board mem-
bers first appointed shall expire as designated by
the City Council at the time of their appointments
as follows:
three on the thirtieth day of June
of the first year following appointment;
two on the thirtieth day of June
of the second year following appointment; and
two on the thirtieth day of June
of the third year following appointment."
SECTION 2.
That subsection .040 of Section 1.04.995 be, and
the same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
".040 TERMS OF APPOINTMENT.
Each member of the Board shall
serve for a term of four years and until their respective
successors are appointed and qualified; provided, how-
ever, that the terms of the Board members first appointed
shall expire as designated by the City Council at the time
of their appointments as follows:
two on the thirtieth day of June of the
first year following appointment;
one on the thirtieth day of June of the
second year following appointment;

third year following appointment; and
one on the thirtieth day of June of the
fourth year following appointment."
SECTION 3.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th
day of August 1982.
