AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
--_ TITLE 14, CHAPTER 14.32 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL
CODE BY ADDING THERETO A NEW SECTION 14.32.189
RELATING TO PARKING AND STOPPING.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 14, Chapter 14.32 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code be amended by adding thereto a new Section 14.32.189 to
read as follows:
"14.32.189 NO STOPPING AT ANY TIME TOW AWAY

and/or markings prohibiting or restricting the stopping of
vehicles in these areas when in his opinion as evidenced
by City Council Ordinance and/or Resolution that stopping
is dangerous to those using the street or highway or where
the stopping of vehicles would unduly interfere with the
free movement of traffic thereon.
All police officers of the City of Anaheim
are authorized and empowered to remove or cause to be
removed all vehicles stopped, caused to be stopped, or left
standing within any of the following designated areas and
the owner or operator of said vehicle in violation of this
Section shall be liable for any reasonable towing and
storage charges. The person causing removal of such vehicle
shall comply with the requirements of Sections 22852 and
22853 of the California Vehicle Code.

SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen
(15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper
of general circulation, printed; published and circulated in said
City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it
shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 4th day of
January, 1983.
