4432ORDINANCE NO. 4432 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING TITLE 14, CHAPTER 14.32, SECTION 14.32.190 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO NO PARKING AT ANY TIME ON PORTIONS OF GILBERT STREET, LA PALMA AVENUE, MAGNOLIA AVENUE, RIO VISTA STREET, SHEPARD STREET, SOUTH STREET AND STATE COLLEGE BOULEVARD. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That Title 14, Chapter 14.32, Section 14.32.190, Subsections .130, .450, .540 and .650 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are hereby, amended to read as follows: ".130 La Palma Avenue, on the north side, from the east City Limits to Miller Street, from the Carbon Creek Channel to Kraemer Boulevard, from State College Boulevard to Liberty Lane, from East Street to Lemon Street, and from Helena Street to the West City Limits; on the south side, from the East City Limits to Grove Street, from the Carbon Creek Channel to Kraemer Boulevard, from State College Boulevard to Hawthorne Street, from East Street to Lemon Street and from Helena Street to the West City Limits. .450 Gilbert Street, on the east side, from Crescent Avenue to Transit Avenue; on the west side, from Crescent Avenue to Lincoln Avenue. .540 South Street, on the north side, from Rio Vista Street to Sunkist Street; on the south side, from Rio Vista Street to the west property line of South Junior High School and from East Street to the Santa Fe Railroad crossing. .650 Magnolia Avenue, on the east side, from City Limits to Greenbrier Avenue; on the from the North City Limits to Greenbrier from Stonybrook Drive to Ball Road." -1- the North west side, Avenue and SECTION 2. That Subsections .350, .360, .370, .490, .630 and .700 of Title 14, Chapter 14.32, Section 14.32.190 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same are hereby, repealed and a new Subsection .350 be added to the Anaheim Municipal Code to read as follows: ".350 State College Boulevard, on the east side, from the North City Limits to La Palma Avenue, from Lincoln Avenue to 200 feet south of Westport Drive, from South Street to 660 feet south of South Street, and from 660 feet north of Wagner Avenue to Ball Road; on the west side, from the North City Limits to La Palma Avenue, from 200 feet north of Santa Ana Street to 200 feet south of Santa Ana Street, from Savoy Avenue to South Street and from 200 feet north of Wagner Avenue to 700 feet south of Ball Road." SECTION 3. That Title 14, Chapter 14.32, Section 14.32.190 of the Anaheim Municipal Code be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding thereto Subsections .2090 and .2100 to read as follows: 11.2090 Rio Vista Street, on the east side, from 100 feet north of Hempstead Road to South Street; on the west side, from 100 feet north of Hempstead Street to South Street. .2100 Shepard Street, on both sides, from La Palma Avenue to Carpenter Avenue." SECTION 4. SEVERABILITY The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this ordinance, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would have passed all other portions of this ordinance independent of the elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared invalid. SECTION 5. SAVINGS CLAUSE Neither the adoption of this ordinance nor the repeal hereby of any other ordinance of this City shall in any manner affect the prosecution for violations of ordinances, which violations were committed prior to the effective date hereof, nor be construed as a waiver of any license or penalty or the penal provisions applicable to any violation thereof. The -2- provisions of this ordinance, insofar as they are substantially the same as ordinance provisions previously adopted by the City relating to the same subject matter, shall be construed as restatements and continuations, and not as new enactments. SECTION 6. CERTIFICATION The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after its final passage, it shall take effect and be in full force.
