THAT A CHAEGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE
GRANTED IN CEHTADJ A..1:lEAS OF THE CITY

~mEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City
of Anaheim has heretofore dulyoassed and adopted a resolu-
tion declarin:' its intention to change the boundaries of the
zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described and did
fix a time anct Dlace for the holding of a ')Ublic hearing
thereon in the lUanner and as 9rescribed in Article IX,
Chapter 2 of the Anaheim },1unicipal Code, and did duly hold
ancx conduct aoublic he2rinc to consider such proposed change
of zone or zones and diet receive evidence and reports from
persons interested therein; and
wEEFEAS, within a period of forty (40) days follow-
ing the hearinr thereon, the PlenninE; Commission did duly
announce by formal resolution its findings of facts and de-
clare its opinions and. rea.sons foy' recommendinG an amendment
to :.oai6. Article IX, Chapter 2 of the Ane.heim Municipal Code
to effect the proposed c~2nges in the boundaries of the zone
hereinafter mentioned and described; and
1,~EREAS, upon receipt of the report and recommenda-
tion of the City Plannins Commission, the City Council did
thereupon fix the 29th da,y of Janue.ry, 1957 as the time and
the Council Chamber in the City Hall of the City of Anaheim

of zone and did give notice thereof in the manner and as pro-
vided in said Article IX, CHAPTER 2 of the Anaheim Municipal
Code; and
illiEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said pub-
lic hearing, the City Council did duly hold. and conduct such
public hearine and did E"ive all -oersons interested therein an
op)ortuni ty to be heard and cUd receive evidence and reports,
and di6 thereupon consider the recommendations of the City
Plannine Commission; and
"dHEREAS, the City Counci1. does find and determine
trl&t tbe property ancl area proposed to be chanved from the
zone in 1'!hich it is nm,' 8i tua ted. to a different zone, as
hereinafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone in
'i'lhich it is nov-; inco:.'pora teet and that a change of zone should
not be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the CitJ of Anaheim that all of the property and. area sit-
uated in the City of Anaheim, Count;)' of Orange, state of
California, described as follows, to wit:
