AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
TITLE 1, CHAPTER 1.04, SECTIONS 1.04.110 AND
1.04.190 OF THE ANAHEIM MUNICIPAL CODE PER-
TAINING TO CITY DEPARTMENTS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DOES ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04, Section 1.04.110 be,
and the same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
"'SECTION 1.04.110 CITY DEPARTMENTS CREATED
There are hereby created for the government of the
City the following departments:
Police Department
Fire Department
Utilities Department
Public Works Department
Parks, Recreation, and the Arts Department
Finance Department
Planning Department
Legal Department
Personnel Department
City Clerk Department
Library Department
Community Development Department
Stadium, Convention Center, and
Golf Department
Data Processing Departmentâ–º"
SECTION 2.
That Title 1, Chapter 1.04, Section 1.04.190 be, and
the same is hereby, amended to read as follows:
"SECTION 1.04.190 FINANCE DEPARTMENT --DIVISIONS
The Finance Department shall be divided into the
following divisions:
.010 Accounts Division
.020 Purchases and Stores Division
.030 Licenses Division
.040 Collection Division
.050 Duplicating and Mail Division
The Director of Finance shall exercise general super-
vision and control over said divisions.`
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY.
The City Council of the City of Anaheim hereby declares
that should any section, paragraph, sentence or word of this
chapter of the Code, hereby adopted, be declared for any reason
to be invalid, it is the intent of the Council that it would
have passed all other portions of this chapter independent of
the elimination herefrom of any such portion as may be declared
invalid.

SECTION 4.
The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
ordinance and shall cause the same to be printed once within
fifteen (15) days after its adoption, in the Anaheim Bulletin,
a newspaper of general circulation, printed, published and
circulated in said City, and thirty (30) days from and after
its final passage it shall take effect and be in full force.
THE FOREGOING ORDINANCE is approved andsigned by me
this 17th day of August , 1976.

adopted at a regular meeting of said City Council held on the 17th day
of August, 1976, by the following vote of the members thereof:
AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Kaywood, Seymour, Kott and Thom
NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS: None
ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS: Roth
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Ordinance No. 3576 on the 17th day of August,
1976.
